Many patients prefer an esthetic and oral hygiene friendly method of orthodontic treatment that is removable rather than fixed to the teeth. Invisalign is a clear aligner system that moves the teeth into a harmonious position through a series of custom-made thermoplastic aligners. The aligners are designed with 3D imaging technology in conjunction with Dr. Safer’s clinical assessment of the patient and correspondence with Invisalign technicians. Each aligner can generate a pre-determined amount of tooth movement and is worn for a period of two weeks until the next aligner of the series can be inserted. The total number of aligners in the series is case dependent.
